Standard Conveyor Chain
Standard Conveyor Cha↕Ω¥πin
Conveyor chains, like drive roller c±hains, can be manufacturβ★♣Ωed to a number of different internat≈™ional standards. The main crite♦γria available are:
British Standard (BS)
The standard covers chains manufacturπ↑♠∞ed to suit the UK market as ∏ ₩well as the UK-dominated e"σ ngineering and sourcinβ♦φg markets. This stan$≠σdard is based on the origπ↕®inal Renold conveyor design.
ISO Standard Chain
Chains manufactured to ISO standards£λ are not interchangeable wi÷€th BS or DIN standard chains. The ≠∏×standard is widely accepte★Ω$d in European markets >γ¶except Germany. Chains madγ¶♥e according to this standard are beφcoming more and more pop✔≠λεular and widely used in S≈€•σcandinavia.
Renold has extensive experi®★φλence in conveyor chain manuλfacturing.

Renault ultimate reliability
- The key to the reliability o×≠f Renold chains is consistency in✘Ω design and manufacturing.
- Maximum chain strength and w¶&•∑ear resistance can be a→≠δchieved by tightly contr× ✘olling material specific¥∑®±ations and using state-of-the-art↔ § heat treatment processes.
- Renold's consistent o₩ ↕★verall tolerances make i ♥€t ideal for conveyor systems that requiε re precise alignment on a m ☆γ ulti-strand chain layout.
- The breaking load exceeds th≥e minimum international standard.
- The right chain selection is essential α€for optimal performance. Renold's exper₹£εienced design team is∞→ always available to provide free↑£ advice on specific product $≠s and applications.
Standard and deep link co∑÷±nveyor chains comply with ₩" BS4116 Part 4 as well as I↑£∞SO 1977 standards and are available ÷₽with hollow and solid bearing pins≤∞.
Super strong standard c•☆≈onveyor chain
To complement our standard range of Br☆↔itish Standard Conve★¥δ✘yor Chains, this extra♥€© strength chain is more suitableσ≥ for conveyor applications selected ba<'β♦sed on ultimate tensile strength (bre≠aking load). Each chain is the same si÷∑×ze as its regular chain, foβ↕r example, an extra strength 2≈®4,000 lb chain is essentially ∞γ≥the same size as a regul≥¶£₹ar 12,000 lb series chain. The ☆§chain is widely used to §λ₽©convey animal feed and bulk food suc↔&≥h as grains, corn, wheat, and raw food ★∑≥mixtures.
Most of these applications use a∑¶ scraper conveyor system, →βδ®which typically has a₩÷ long center distance b&£ etween sprockets. Suc↕®h systems are sometimes slow-moving, &®↑with little or no shock loads. φ®Please contact our technical∏>₽ sales staff for selection and appliπ£©cation details
