The trident chain of themeβ÷$ parks
Renold has extensive experience supp§≤λ'lying the conveyor chain fo ≈₹≥r theme park rides, from roller coas±₹♠★ters to water rides, to theme parks aro™♣✘und the world.
Through continuous R&'↔;D and research into the com≥<±mon causes of chain failure i♦€©n corrosive environments, R©≤✔>enold has developed the&§$☆ Trident chain series to address÷↕¶✘ the three main areas ≈&of failure in such environments: c→♣¥orrosion, seizure, and€±> wear.

Due to frequent exposure t♠£o water, corrosion is often aβ∑ problem on water chute chains. To∞✘ solve this problem, Renold has develo✔δ₹♣ped a dual-process surfaππce treatment to improve corrosion✘✘δ resistance. A special z∞πinc-based coating provid♠ "¥es excellent protecti λ£on for steel. Even i≥™<↔f the coating is penetrated, ↔σthe treatment continues to provide ≤→™≠superior corrosion resistance.&n×¥bsp;
Eliminate jamming and play without©✘↓ lubrication
Conveyor chains and ↑σ&×lift chains on facilities can su¥δffer from bushings and pinning carγ♦✔ds, significantly reducing the life of "₽∏the chain. By developing a unique poly±¥λ×mer sleeve, metal-to-metal contact <✘is reduced, eliminat&πing the risk of bushin•♣ε'g and pin seizure. T™Ωhis also provides lubrication-→←✔εfree operation and elim≠'inates the need for any lubrication÷ ports.
Reduced wear and teaβ→←r
The development of the thick-walled λ≈bushing design overcomes ∏σγpremature wear and failure of t♠φ•₽he bushing, and in most c&↓♠<ases also allows for the adoption of sh✘☆ell rollers, which reduc↕©↔es the wear of the spr ↕δδocket teeth; Extend the life of sprockeγ§≠♠ts and chains and reduce mai÷©β≠ntenance time and costs.
Additional benefits:
- Integral Attachment Design – Elimin♣↔★✔ates attachment/plate corrosion issu∑©☆★es
- Smoother and quieter ☆α¶than standard water slide ch♦ains
- Runs on the same sprockets an∞₽d tracks as standard chains.≠☆ε¥
- Superior breaking load and working loa♠∏λd
